On Monday, June 27 at Edmonton's Mayfield Theatre, Stewart Lemoine, Resident Playwright for Edmonton's Teatro La Quindicina and NeWest author, received three Sterling Awards for his 2010 play (and the titular piece of his new book), Witness to a Conga. The charming, emotionally quick-witted comedy took home awards for Best New Work, Best Production, and Jeff Haslam was given the award for Best Actor.
