At the Writers' Trust Awards event on November 2nd, NeWest's own Myrna Kostash. author of All of Baba's Children, The Doomed Bridegroom: A Memoir, and The Frog Lake Reader, was given the Matt Cohen Award, recognizing Myrna's dedication to a life of writing.

The award has been given out annually since 2000, and has included such luminaries as Paul Quarrington, Mavis Gallant and Howard Engel.

We're incredibly proud of Myrna. She is an incredible talent, and this award only cements that further. Congratulations, Myrna!
