The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. You know what that means: autumn is on its way. While we mourn the passing of warm, patio-friendly summer evenings, we celebrate the upcoming season as all good bibliophiles should – with new releases! Three of NeWest's fall 2011 books will be hitting shelves in September and early October, and we've got launch events for each of them! First up is Robert Pepper-Smith's House of Spells, which is being released on September 1. The Nanaimo Art Gallery has graciously offered their venue for a launch event on Saturday, September 17.
The very next day, Sunday, September 18, Lambda Award-winning author Garry Ryan and Pages on Kensington in Calgary will be launching the fifth Detective Lane mystery, Malabarista.
And last but certainly not least, on Thursday, October 13 at the Sleuth of Baker Street in Toronto, poet, professor, publisher, and first-time NeWest author Michael Boughn will be releasing his first mystery into the world, Business As Usual.
