Canada Reads 2011 is really starting to heat up. What began as a month long festival of adoration, with hundreds--possibly thousands--of books pitched by the public to the CBC Canada Reads website, has quickly evolved into an exciting nail-biter of a situation. The Top 40 titles were revealed at the beginning of this month, with NeWest's own Angie Abdou and her book, The Bone Cage, standing tall to keep a light on amazing Western Canadian authors.

Now it all comes down to a vote. Readers can select from the Top 40 titles at the Canada Reads website and vote for the one they think, above all others, Canada should read. On November 9th, 10 books will be selected from the Top 40.
