More accolades for members of the NeWest family: Christine Wiesenthal, editor of The Collected Works of Pat Lowther, has been nominated for the 2010 Tom Fairley Award for Editorial Excellence!

From the life of a poet cut tragically short, Christine was able to pull together a definitive collection of the late Pat Lowther's poetry. One of the most unique and daring voices of Canada's literary scene in the 1970's, Pat Lowther's work had long been in need of the sort of comprehensive collection that Christine helped bring about. With The Collected Works of Pat Lowther,Christine has not only given Canadian literature an incredible resource of Pat Lowther's work, she has also shown editorial skill and talent that deserves recognition in every possible way.
