Congratulations to Angie Abdou, who recently completed a whirlwind tour of southern B.C. that covered 3500 km, with 17 talks presented over six weeks. Abdou, ever the engaging speaker, was well-received by audiences at the 17 Kootenay libraries. The Bone Cage, the only Canadian literary novel about the Olympic games, couldn't be a more timely pick for this annual book event.
