Ian Urquhart Ian Urquhart received his PhD in 1987 from the University of British Columbia, where he studied the politics of the salmon fishery. His is the author of several articles on Alberta politics and continues to study the politics of managing environmental tasks.
He co-edited The Last Great Forest (NeWest, 1994) with Larry Pratt.
