Rita Toews Rita Toews is the author of three children's stories as well as short stories and essays that have been published in numerous magazines including Western People, and Zygote. She also wrote The Bully: A Discussion and Activity Story -- a children’s book that is in use in schools throughout Canada and the United States. While taking a writing course in 1999, Toews was approached about assisting Alex Domokos to write his memoir. Thus began the partnership that has produced books and short stories that have appeared in many E-publications as well as in print.
