Alex Domokos  Alex Domokos was raised in Hungary. He served on the front line in World War II where he was captured and held as a prisoner of war in Russia. It was during the six years he spent as a prisoner that he discovered and developed his talent for writing. Domokos is the author of five books published in Hungary, as well as a number of books he co-wrote with Rita Toews—including his biography The Price of Freedom, the futuristic novel Prometheus, and the mystery, Body Traffic, which was published by NeWest in 2005. Domokos currently lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
