Ian Waddell was the Minister of Culture in the government of British Columbia. He previously spent fourteen years as an MP in the House of Commons in Ottawa. With A Thirst to Die For, he uses his knowledge of water exports, one of the big businesses of the twenty-first century, and his inside knowledge of the Canadian Parliament and its personalities to tell a fast-paced mystery with a good dose of adventure. A longtime member of the Board of Governors for the Arts Club of Vancouver and the Heritage Vancouver Society he is actively involved in the cultural aspects of Vancouver. With his experience as a TV and radio commentator, Ian Waddell made a documentary film (Why Young People Don’t Vote). He is now an entertainment lawyer and film producer, and lives in Vancouver, BC.
