Grant MacEwan

Grant MacEwan (1902-2000) was one of the most respected Western Canadians of the twentieth century. He was an agriculturalist, educator, mayor of Calgary, lieutenant-governor of Alberta, historian, lecturer, and the prolific author of nearly fifty books. The recipient of numerous accolades and awards, Dr. MacEwan received the Golden Pen Lifetime Achievement Award at the Alberta Book Awards just a few months prior to his death.
